At a young age, Brett was always drawn to music. Growing up in Hollywood in the 80’s he vividly remembers hearing the Beatles for the first time along with “La Bamba” by Ritchie Valens, “Eternal Flame” by The Bangles, and “Beat It” by Michael Jackson on the AM radio, which had the biggest impact on his early years.

At the age of 13, Brett got his first acoustic guitar, and then the following Christmas his first electric guitar, a Fender Stratocaster. Around the same time, Brett heard Jimi Hendrix and Metallica for the first time. He started recording his guitar ideas on the computer, in hopes to one day writing his own songs.

At 18, Brett started his first band and played a lot of gigs in and around Hollywood, including the Hard Rock at Universal City Walk in Studio City, The Viper Room and The Whisky a Go Go in Hollywood to name just a few. After his band broke up in 2003, Brett focused on school and his career as a T.V. Editor. During this time, Brett created some solo work in the genre of Trip Hop, but never felt fulfilled, given that his true passion was to write music with his native instrument, the guitar!

In 2023, Brett decided to start writing Hard Rock music once again, but this time with the help of professional artists around the world, including singer Kate Glock from England and drummer James Knoerl from New York. His goal is to create the band he always envisioned from a young age and hopes to help inspire anyone who also has a passion for music or expressing themselves in a way which only the arts can do!
